Film’s best friend
Labs do a great job developing and scanning your film; however, archiving is often left unfinished. Negatives are returned in long sleeves, envelopes, or tubes and stored away without much care. Filmhound exists to do the part that comes after.
We carefully handle every roll, gently clean away oil and debris, organize each frame, and store your film using archival-safe materials built to last. Your loose negatives become a clean, searchable archive that is protected, intentional, and easy to access. No more digging through boxes. Just film preserved the way it deserves.

What Members Are Barking About
"It’s honestly one of the best things I’ve done, using Filmhound to archive my film. I know I want to keep it and I know the importance of archiving, but the rolls just pile up and up and up. Sending them to you instead has made a huge difference in my workflow!"
Alexandra Friendly
"I kept thinking I’d get around to cutting and sleeving my negatives, but never did and on the rare occasion I sat down to archive a roll or two, I sucked at cutting nicely. So I figured it made sense for Mark at Northeast Photographic to forward them to Filmhound for free!"
Drew Chambers
“It is an invaluable option to have my negatives organized and saved and sent in a very practical manner at a later date. Makes life simpler for shooting film!”
Jeramy Ritchie
"I use Film Hound because, despite being capable, I rarely get around to properly archiving my film; Film Hound does."
